Cabinet
American Red Oak,
Dovetailed and fully finished inside and out. Baltic Birch baffle
with Striped Oxblood Grill cloth stretched extremely tight and
triple stapled to keep it that way. Angled to improve Projection.
The 'V' logo is 24kt Gold Plated solid brass, made by Hipshot
Products. (Bad-ass Bridge) Title graphics and faceplate are reverse
laser engraved acrylic with polished edges. Marshall type Heavy Duty
strap handle with Chrome caps and 3/4" rubber feet.
The
Circuitry
Aluminum Chassis with
Beefy Heyboer Transformers. Garolite G-10 Turret Board with Sprague
Atom and JJ Electronics Electrolytic Capacitors. All other
Capacitors are SoZo Premium Handmade Mustard Cap Vintage. ( http://www.sozoamplification.com/purchase4.html
) Carbon Composition resistors throughout the signal path. Cliff
Input Jacks, Switchcraft Progressive Power Switch, Porcelain /Gold
Tube Sockets with Spring Retainers on the Power and Rectifier. Solid
wire throughout. Line Out Jack to DI to a PA or Mixing Console. Foot
Switch jack and Tremolo On/Off switch on the underside of the
Chassis. Special heater wiring circuit and star ground scheme. Two 8
Ohm Celestion Alnico Blues wired in series for a 16
ohm load utilizing the entire secondary of the output transformer.
