NEW!!   WOODEN Circuit Boards  NEW!!

Bloodwood Board for a prototype Model

Wooden? Circuit boards...... Why?
I read that a Famous Amp builder made his boards from wood. How Cool!! Then I actually got a look inside one of them to discover that the boards were actually Formica!  A complete let down.

So, I am now offering them as an upgrade option.
Is there any sonic benefit to using Hardwood? Probably Not.
Are they Cool? You Bet!!!!

Hardwood was used in the early days when phenolic  resin board was brand new and still too expensive. Look inside a very old phono or radio from the 20's and you are likely to see it.

NOW OFFERING
Beeswax-Paper-Foil Capacitors

Jupiter Condenser Co. Beeswax-Paper-Foil capacitors are a large plate area cap specifically designed for audio applications. Each capacitor is precision wound of the finest USA materials and is carefully constructed entirely by expert hands.
We believe the dielectric is the first area to be addressed in capacitor manufacture. Since the early 1900's to the late 1940's paper capacitor research was focused in the area of dielectrics, there was no mention to foils. Paper formulation and it's handling were key, though impregnants were considered fundamental and anti-oxidant characteristics of impregnants were prized. Thus we began our research on improving impregnants first, then improving the properties of the paper itself. Beeswax naturally contains small amounts of propolis, which is a very powerful anti-oxidant, other properties include: anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral. Propolis protects the paper and foil from oxidation and degradation.
Achieved results of the Beeswax-Paper-Foil are a reliable paper capacitor, with the warm tone and richness characteristic of paper capacitors, yet has greater clarity, detail, clarity, and sweetness. Attention paid to all details makes this a special product.

VINTONE SHOP VERY BUSY!

First of all, I would like to thank all of my wonderful clients, who have made all of this possible.

Vintone Circuits began as a dream.
A someday plan that has become a now thing!

"You should hire some help", some say.
Here is why I won't.

I have seen too many small business fail because they tried to get too big, too fast.
I myself, some years ago, was in construction contracting and was inundated with a backlog of jobs. So I hired a second 'crew' to do two jobs at once. The results were disastrous. I found out very quickly that 'they' didn't care about m
y reputation at all.
'They' talked a good job, but their work was deplorable. Guess who had to 'eat' the damages. After I fired them, they just went on to work for someone else. It took me years to recover from the damage done in just a few short weeks.

It has taken me a great deal of time, energy, resources and very hard work to establish myself as a builder of quality wares.  I can only uphold that reputation by doing this work myself. If I were to set up a factory and try to mass produce my products, the results would not, and could not be the same.

So, that said, once again I wish to thank my wonderful clients. This time for their patience, trust and confidence.
I vow not to let you down!

                          Sincerely,

On November 17th, 2001, and November 15th, 2003,  I attended the Kendrick's Amplifier Seminar in Kempner Texas.

What an experience! I'm glad I took a tape recorder. There was too much information to digest!
